Vegan Cooking Books – The Truth About Vegan Cooking Books

vegan cooking books

There are so many vegan cooking books to pick from these days. It’s like vegans have a secret recipe for every single thing you can imagine. Some are so good that they become the go-to resource for new vegans, while others are so poorly written that they fail to provide any benefit at all. Either way, there are vegan cookbooks that can really give you the information you need to start cooking vegan food right away.

Some vegan cookbooks are really old and outdated. I know I’d rather get my information from someone who has been vegan since the beginning, rather than someone who has only been in the vegan scene for a few months. If you have any doubts about this, just read a few reviews on Amazon or Barnes & Noble. You’ll see that most people who wrote the reviews gave the book at least a C or above for its quality.

Some Facts About Vegan Books

However, not all vegan cookbooks are created equal. Some are just not well written. I remember spending months reading through a few vegan cookbooks that I couldn’t figure out how to read. I’m sure there are some really great vegan cookbooks out there, but if the book is terrible, you won’t get very far.

Don’t worry if the vegan cookbook you’re interested in is extremely expensive. As long as it has something worth reading, you should be able to find something that is equally good, if not better. My favorite vegan cookbook is Vegan Richa. This book has tons of recipes and includes tons of great information. The author, Monica Anderson, is very passionate about her vegan cooking and wants you to be as well.

Now, vegan cookbooks aren’t necessarily a complete waste of money. Most of them will give you a basic understanding of vegan cooking and give you all the recipes you’ll ever need. The best ones usually include more than just vegan recipes, because you don’t want to end up getting bored after the first couple of chapters. It’s always good to have an eclectic collection of recipes. You never know what you’ll find if you keep looking around.
